is the brainchild of Sweekruth BP, established in the year 2007 to promote,propagate Kathak and also uses body movements and facial expressions to share one's ideas.
A strict teaching methodology is followed that helps the students to understand the art form better. Performance opportunities are given to deserving students after a few years of training.
Kathak REGULAR CLASSES are held on : Wed and Thu at 4.30 pm and 7.30 pm Sunday at 10.30 am ( Sunday classes are considered extra/compensatory)
We also provide online ONE on ONE CLASS to only people with prior experience in Kathak. Timings and days can be as per convenience.

Minimum age required is 8 years (in specific cases, kids below 8 years are enrolled if they look older and have better understanding abilities)
Maximum age: There is no maximum age limit.
- Student is expected to arrive 10 min before the stipulated time.
- Student should only wear Indian outfits, and which are not tight fitted.
- Discipline and Respect is an integral part of any Guru - Shishya relationship, therefore while addressing the teacher a mark of respect is needed. Please do not call the teacher solely by name irrespective of age difference between Guru and Student.
- Fees should be paid at the time of admission and before the 10th of every month in case of regular class.
- Fees in case of Individual Classes should be paid at the end of each session to avoid confusion with number of sessions taken.
- Maximum of 8 classes in a month.
- Any regular class cancelled by the academy will be compensated.
- Students are requested to keep the DANCE HALL clean and tidy.
- Students are requested to carry their own water bottle if necessary.
- Parents are requested to take interest in knowing the growth of the student in dance class at regular intervals.
- Students who discontinue REGULAR CLASSES will not be taken back until they pay fees for all the months of absence.
- Students/Parents are requested to inform the teacher in advance regarding leave or absence.
- Students/Parents are requested to inform the teacher regarding ailments, illness or any pain. This will help in reducing the risk of further injury.
- Unless the teacher is confident about the student, he/she will not be taught any specific piece to be performed in front of audience.
- Dance is divine and it is not bound by caste, creed or religion. Hence forth an open mind is necessary to understand the aspects of it. I request all parents and students to keep this in mind.
